L&M was founded in 1964 by Joe McGee. Joe grew up on a small family farm located in Johnston County, North Carolina. His parents taught him the value of a hard day's work and strong relationships. After more than five decades, we are still well grounded in the same principles; we work hard — with respect, passion, leadership and excellence — and always with unyielding integrity.

It's worth repeating that we are passionate about our produce. Getting the right product to our customers at the right time is a goal that drives every member of the L&M team.
