Oma’s Fresh Slaw


For the Slaw
1 head of cabbage, chopped or shredded
1 red onion, diced (small or medium, to your taste)
1 large green bell pepper
6 green onions, chopped
5 celery stalks, chopped
¼ cup sugar

For the Dressing
¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp salt
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp dry mustard

Combine all the slaw ingredients into a large bowl. Combine the dressing ingredients in a small pot, bring to a boil & stir. Pour the dressing over slaw mixture and toss well. Chill in the fridge in an airtight container.
