Roasted Cabbage Steaks
1 cabbage head, cut into approximately 1 inch thick slices
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sea salt or to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preheat your oven to 425. Slice the cabbage top to bottom (stem being the bottom) in 1 inch slices. Rub each side of the cabbage slices with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast on a parchment lined baking sheet for 15 minutes. Using an oven mit, remove the cabbage from the oven, carefully flip each slice, and bake for another 15 minutes. Cabbage should be nicely browned.
